Explanation of number system in easy words, with notes part = 1.
Basically number system is little bit of confusing because Evey number system includes numbers , so to away this confusion now I'm going to tell about number system in simple words.let's we start it .
Number system:-
Number system is defined as it is a system which includes particular numbers.
Base or radix:-
Normally there are four types of number system. In this four types of number system, how can we identify particular number system ?Ex :-
How can we identify, that above example is in which number system? Binary number system,decimal number system,octal number system, Hexadecimal number system, 0 and 1 this two numbers are present in this four types of number system, it is pretty difficult hhhhh..........!!!!
By using base and radix we can identify it easily.

Here i am written same example with base, in this example base is 8.
So this example is of Octal number system.to identify any particular number system this base is used. Actually base or radix both not different, they both are same.
Base is defined as it is a number which is used to identify any particular number system.
There are four types of number system :-
1) Decimal number system
2) Binary number system
3) Octal number system
4) Hexadecimal number system
Decimal number system :-
In all over world Decimal number system is commonly used, if any person wants to do calculation , represent any number for any purpose or do any work related to numbers we use only Decimal number system.
In this number system, basically 10 different numbers are used to represent Decimal number system as 0, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
Now,ho h can we identity base of this number system?, Simply, we know that in this number system only 10 numbers are present, so it's base is 10. That's it!!!!!, It is simply easy........
It means that base of any number system is depends on Total numbers present in that particular number system.

2) In this number system 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, this ten numbers are present.
3) base or radix of this number system is 10, because their are 10 numbers are present in this number system.

So then , when we enter any think such as alphabets or numbers in computer then how computer understand that what we entered and gives us correct response.
As l say at starting computer only understand zero's or one's without this they do not understand anything. So when we enter any alphabet or digit in computer then computer converts that particular word or digit into binary form, then it does some operation on it and when computer got answer then that bunch of binary number again converted into particular word or number, gives output means correct answer.

Digit mean human readable form, binary means computer readable for ,so how I made this conversion above. Let's see how make this conversion.
*How to conversion is made:-
To make this conversion following formula is used,
Here in this above figure I mentioned ,n = up to you wish.

But in here I considered n = 3 this simple form is used to convert decimal number into binary number.
Here I am going to explain how to make conversion of decimal into binary.
Ex :- convert 5 into binary form,
In here we can simply say that ,
decimal number 8 is stored binary number 0,
decimal number 4 is stored binary number 1,
decimal number 2 is stored binary number 0,
decimal number 1 is stored binary number 1,
Simple rules :-
1) decimal number which stored zero is not considered,mean simply consider that number is delete.
2) decimal number which stored one , that number is considered,mean simply consider that number is not deleted,it still live.
In the rule I said that the decimal which stores zero is not considered, because if we multiply any number with zero we get answer is zero.
In second rule I said that decimal number which stored one , that number is considered, because if we multiply any number with one we get answer is that of the same number.
By applying rule,
We get,
Now add remaining two decimal numbers,
= 4 + 1
= 5
What we get answer is five ,
So binary of 5 is 0101 , understand.......
From this we can understand how to convert given number into binary.

You can also able to convert given decimal number into binary number by using this method of conversion.
In this number system, basically 2 Numbers are used as represent binary number system as 0 and 1.
In this number system only 2 numbers are present , so it's base or radix is 2.

2) In this number system 0 and 1, this two numbers are present.
3) base or radix of this number system is 2, because their are 2 numbers are present in this number system.

Octal number system:-
We can see , name of this number system is Octal number system, did you know Octal means 8 , from this we can say that , in this number system only 8 Numbers are present as 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7.
As we know,in this number system only 8 Numbers are present , so it's base or radix is 8.

1) octal number system is a number system in which 8 digits are present .
2) In this number system 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7, this eight numbers are present.
3) base or radix of this number system is 8, because their are 8 numbers are present in this number system.

Hexadecimal number system:-
We seen before, three types of number systems , in that three number systems their are only different numbers are present . But in this hexadecimal number system is quite different than that three numbers systems, because in this number system not only number are present but also alphabets are present .
As 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C,D,E,F, This 16 numbers or alphabets are present in this number system.
In them first 0 to 9 numbers are some of starting Numbers after that alphabets are present , this alphabets are considered as
A is considered as 10,
B is considered as 11,
C is considered as 12,
D is considered as 13,
E is considered as 14,
F is considered as 15.
Well in this number system totally 16 numbers or digits are present, so base or radix of this number system is 16.

1) hexadecimal number system is a number system in which 16 digits or alphabets are present .
2) In this number system digits :- 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and alphabets :- A,B,C,D,E,F, this 16 numbers or alphabets are present.
3) base or radix of this number system is 16, because their are 16 numbers or alphabets are present in this number system.
